The Path

A custom moss artwork inspired by a winding hillside path overlooking the lake.

The Path was created to reflect a quiet, meaningful place on the clients’ property: a winding path surrounded by trees, greenery and moss, leading to a secluded landing overlooking the lake.

The piece incorporates Kasota stone, preserved mosses, lichens and delicate flowers to suggest the textures and movement of that landscape. Rather than recreate the path literally, the composition captures the feeling of walking through it—the greenery, the stillness and the sense of arrival.

Created for their home, the piece brings a beloved outdoor place inside, where it can be enjoyed every day.

There is a winding path on our hillside surrounded by beautiful trees, lush greenery and moss with a spattering of small flowers that leads us to a quiet and secluded landing that overlooks the lake. With her grasp of design and attention to detail she has captured this beauty in “The Path” and we are able to enjoy this piece of art in our home.
